Matta returns to the United States with a rich and interesting exhibition at the Blum Gallery in Los Angeles curated by Dan Nadel and Cornelius Tittel.

It is a unique opportunity to discover Matta from multiple perspectives. On display are numerous previously unpublished drawings, a historical painting from 1953, several paintings from the 1990s from the series of large black and whites, and a selection of fascinating terracotta sculptures produced since the 1970s and still unseen.

All the works on display (this is a preview), from drawings to paintings to sculptures, provide an insight into the extraordinary research of Matta, who was constantly intent on representing change in all its forms.
