New opening of La Bandita to the FAI

On October 14 and 15, 2023, Matta's retreat in Tarquinia will reopen to the public for the second time during the FAI's autumn days. After the success of last year's edition, the proposed tour is expanded with the introduction of a new monumental sculpture, Oeramen, and shows the progress of work on the reconstruction of Autoapocalipse, which will be presented in February 2024 at Arte Fiera in Bologna. The event aims to acquaint all interested visitors with part of Matta's work through the discovery of the place he chose as his refuge and studio beginning in the 1970s and the works he conceived and created here.
